Restorative dentistry solutions for a beautiful, functioning smile

Restoring the smile after tooth loss or damage is essential to ensure proper function, appearance, and health of the teeth and gums. Drs. Bernt White, Warren Willis, and Chad Cooley of Ten Mile Smiles encourage you to connect with their team when things go wrong to repair the smile with restorative dentistry. Restorative dentistry provides remedial dental care solutions that can fix the teeth and gums when issues arise.

What restorative dentistry procedures are available at Ten Mile Smiles?

Our team is proud to provide the following services for patient consideration:

  • Dental bridges. Bridges are a way to replace one or more teeth lost in a row. They use dental crowns on each end and false teeth (pontics) fused together into a single porcelain restoration. Existing teeth on each side are used to support the bridge, essentially “bridging the gap” left behind after tooth loss.
  • Dental crowns. Teeth damaged from trauma, such as chips and cracks, or weakened due to endodontic therapy (root canal therapy), will require extra protection. Dental crowns are “caps” made of porcelain to cover a tooth to strengthen and protect it from further damage.
  • Inlays. Inlays are used when dental fillings are insufficient to restore a tooth after tooth decay. This porcelain restoration is placed within the cusps of a tooth to repair it.
  • Composite fillings. Using tooth-colored composite resin fillings is an aesthetic and reliable way to repair a tooth after a cavity has formed and continues to be the gold standard in restoring teeth impacted by tooth decay and other types of damage.
