Existing teeth on each side are used to support the bridge, essentially “bridging the gap” left behind after tooth loss.
• Dental crowns. Teeth damaged from trauma, such as chips and cracks, or weakened due to endodontic therapy (root canal therapy), will require extra protection. Dental crowns are “caps” made of porcelain to cover a tooth to strengthen and protect it from further damage.
